Gym reopening 25th July

Hopefully you have all heard the good news that gyms can reopen as from the 25th July.
It has been a frustrating and tough few months for everyone but hopefully we are on the road back to some form of normality with things starting to reopen. I can't wait to have you all back inside and carry on from before lock down. We can't change the past, but we can change our future. So let's start with a bang and have some positive vibes running through walls.

Things will be different on return and I will cover that in more detail but I just wanted to start by saying thank you. Thank you to everyone that has supported the gym over the years and through the past few months it really does mean a lot to me that you want a gym to come back to. We are so grateful for your continued support. We have felt helpless and annoyed at times that we haven't been able to provide our community with a place to train and stay healthy. So thank you so so much for all your support and kind messages.

On a positive note the gym has gone through a big repaint and clean up ready for your return, with a few more little surprises on there way. I want you all to be proud to be members of CrossFit Bournemouth and have listened to all feedback over lockdown and hope your return is a positive experience.

As for Opening, here's a few points

1 - We will open on the 25th July with a fun in-house Throwdown followed by some drinks, I did say we would do a BBQ but with all the Guidance issues this just isn't possible at present (but not forgotten).

2 - As promised those that stuck with us through lock down will receive a months free membership as a thank you for supporting the box. This will be done at random but we aim to have everyone refunded as soon as possible over the next few months.

3 - Classes will be increased to 50 mins from 45 mins to allow a 10 min deep clean before the next class can start.

4 - Only coaches and class attendees will be allowed in the gym at any one time due to Guidelines set. There will be a waiting area outside in the car park for the next class and if raining we will provide cover.

5 - Changing rooms, for now will be off limit as they are too small to ensure social distancing so we ask you arrive changed and ready to train. But will look into this in more detail once classes are up and running to accommodate those who need to go to work.

6 - With the Guidelines being set at 100sqft per member this will allow us to run classes of 10 to start with. With each member having there own bar, box or pull up bar depending on the WOD.

7 - Kit returns and deposit refunds will need to be done by weds 22nd July so they can be cleaned and made available for Classes going forward.

8 - Class time table update, however this is may change come September. Everyone MUST book onto a class, there are NO EXCEPTIONS - rules are rules.

Classes will run at the following times:
7am, 8am, open gym 9am till 11am

Afternoon / Evening
4pm, 5pm, 6pm

If timings don't suit, please email me with thoughts and I will consider if it is viable at this time.

9 - We have invested in a new floor cleaner to ensure the floor is cleaned and have plenty of hand sanitisers going up on entry and exit of the gym. We have also invested in new cloths instead of wipes etc to help with cleaning down equipment so that we do our bit for the environment.

Over the next few days more details of new offerings will be released... watch this space...

Thanks Again
